happy halloween [a few days early]

Last night Cory and I (& Lucy) carved pumpkins which means the finished product got a photo shoot! Of course I had to include

Lucy in on the shoot since I love nothing more than positioning her in places for photos. I'm sure she loves it. Or maybe not,

but she's happy when she gets a treat afterwards! Cory went with a skull for his carving while I decided to go with more of a

Martha Stewart-y inspired look with polka dots. (hint: polka dots are much easier..) Happy Halloween, everyone!

I squeezed one more session in on what could be the last great fall day of 2009! For Bobby's shoot, we did some hiking in a fabulous
park area and then hit the streets of downtown St. Paul for the rest. Can't go wrong with the urban look of old buildings. Love 'em!

For this session, we found the most fantastic yellow tree! Noah liked playing in the leaves with his football so much, he didn't want to
leave when we were finished. We had a few tears from this little cutie, but I caught him sneaking a few smiles out too. :) There's no
hiding the special bond between these two either...

The first of a weekend full of sessions was with this cute little family. :) Greta was a happy and smiley one year old which always 
makes a photographer happy too! And check out her adorable outfit... SO CUTE! We lucked out with a gorgeous fall day while 
venturing around Red Wing...

jeff+jeanette [love birds.] october 2009

This was a different type of love birds photo session because this wasn't their engagement session... they've been married
for seven years! You would think they just met when you see how in love they are, which makes me smile. :) We started
out at the park where they got married before hitting downtown Hastings for a few urban shots. They were such a fun
couple!
