beth + shawn | engagement session

For this session I had the pleasure of shooting engagement photos of my best friend, Beth, and her fiance, Shawn. We walked through the woods and ventured downtown for the perfect combination of photos. Awesome lighting and great weather, not to mention such a good-lookin' couple, made this a piece of cake!

I'm finally back with a new post after being gone for nearly two months. What better way to come back than with a 8 1/2 month old little cutie! She kept me on my toes, that's for sure. And she gave the camera plenty of smiles!

I'd say a dog's life in a good home is the life. Lucy's got it made. 

Eat, play, run, chew, and most of all, sleep. 

Oh, sleep...

And her mouth. There are no words for her mouth. 

It's my favorite thing of all!

I recently purchased a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens so had to do my first photo shoot with Pony (aka: Lucy) and her most favorite friend (and roommate), Chloe. They both were good little posers as I captured some great shots. Of course, Lucy's daddy had to get in a couple shots as well...

This sweet little baby girl is one of the cutest ever and just looking at her makes me smile. Lucky me will get to see plenty of her in the years to come as she is part of the family. :) She's not too happy with us in this first photo, but it is priceless!
