The mama of these cuties was my best friend growing up and when I see her oldest daughter, Fallon, I feel like we're that age again and she's Jamie. They are identical! :) They were in my area for a wedding so we got together for a quick photo shoot in St. Paul. Wouldn't you know, it was raining all morning, but we made due under a shelter, out of the rain, and still got some adorable shots... including real life shots which are some of my favorites!

 

Little Baby Boy McKenzie

This little guy will be making his appearance in July and is sure to be surrounded by many people who adore him. I had the pleasure of doing this special session for his parents and we couldn't have picked a better evening for the shoot. Perfect light as the sun was low in the sky and not a bit of wind. Buddy, the dog, even got to join in on a few photos! To get his attention, I had to say "ice cream", and he'd look right at me. So funny! I had a lot of favorites from the session... 

 

These next couple few are especially meaningful to Mandy and Corey.. Her necklace is in remembrance of their 
sweet baby Ella who was taken too soon and the bear in honor of what would have been Ella's first birthday...

I've been taking photos of these cuties for a few years now so it's always fun when we get together for a session to see how much they've grown! For this session, we met in downtown minneapolis by the Guthrie, then ventured around the area and Stone Arch Bridge. It's such a neat area! The sun even came out for us, however the wind did not die down whatsoever. We were able to be sheltered by buildings for a good part of the session though. Here are some of my favorites!

faith | six months

Another adorable little six month old! Faith is my cousin's daughter so we got together for a quick photo shoot when they were down in the area for a visit. Didn't take long to get some awesome shots of her! Some looking curious, some smiling, some crying.. There was no shortage of emotions. :) She even gave us quite the pose as you will see in the last photo...
